Race Start Time:

Atlas elite heats are for racers who wish to copmete for prize money among the best the obstacle racing community has to offer. The atlas elite heats will include both individual and teams of professional obstacle course racers, top local racers, and anyone wanting to race alongside the best of in the world.

Atlas open heats do not qualify for prize money. Atlas open races are for those who want to take on the tough course and challenge themselves.

THE ATLAS RACE IS COMMITTED TO BRINGING A RACE EXPERIENCE THAT WILL CHALLENGE THE MOST EXTREME COMPETITIVE OBSTACLE RACING PROFESSIONAL. AND AT THE SAME TIME ANY ONE LOOKING TO CHALLENGE THEMSELVES BY RUNNING THEIR FIRST OBSTACLE COURSE CAN COMPLETE AND OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES THAT LAY IN THEIR PATH. FIRST OF WHICH IS THEMSELVES, SECOND IS THE FELLOW RACERS AND THIRD IS THE ATLAS RACE OBSTACLE COURSE!!!

THE ATMOSPHERE IS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE ONLY APPLY PHILOSOPHY. RACERS MAY BE RACING FOR THE TOP MONEY PURSE, FOR THE SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT OR TO JUST HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY BUT THE CAMARADERIE AND SENSE OF TEAM TO BEAT THIS CHALLENGE IS PREVALENT FROM HELPING EACH OTHER OVER WALLS TO WORDS OF POSITIVE ENCOURAGEMENT ALONG THE COURSE. THE OBSTACLE RACING COMMUNITY IS A VERY SUPPORTIVE AND INCREDIBLY INSPIRING GROUP. ANY ONE LOOKING TO GROW AND PUSH THEMSELVES TO NEW HEIGHTS WHETHER IT BE PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY WOULD HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING A BETTER GROUP TO DO IT ALONG SIDE

Course Description:

We are always hard at work developing new and nasty obstacles. Expect to see obstacles (20+) on the atlas course that are both unique to our race and challenging. We get creating with the punishment here at Atlas Race.

Walls, over and unders, slippery slopes, and the rope climb have become staple obstacles on courses around the world. These military style obstacles were the original inspiration behind obstacle course racing. It is expected to see these familiar obstacles on any course. Train accordingly. These obstacles were designed to test and increase agility and balance. you will need upper body strength and determination to clear these.

You must be 14 years or older on race day to compete. You should wear running shoes and dress appropriately.

Team:

Elite teams are limited to 4 per team. Open heat teams can be as big as you want them to be.
