Course Description:
Get your towels ready, because on the 31st of August and 1st of September 2019 the Water Edition is back in Belgium! Get ready for the most challenging water obstacles during the spectacular 7km, 13km, 19km or 42km obstacle run track! The Strong Viking Water Edition takes place at the beautiful Provinciaal Domein Puyenbroeck, where in addition to a lot of water obstacles, you will have to conquer land obstacles and our famous Strong Viking Mud Area!
The Strong Viking Water Edition is chosen as best obstacle run in the Benelux with obstacles such as the Water Hill, Water Road, Storm the Castle and last but not least: the 12 meter high Fjord Drop!
The Iron Viking Gent is the ultimate Obstacle Run challenge of 2019 in Belgium. Are you an obstacle runner, crossfitter, triathlete, survival runner or another all-round athlete and you think you can handle this legendary challenge? Free! Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.

After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
3km: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
5km: min. age 10 years old (or becomes 10 in that calender year)
7 and 13 km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19 km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
Iron Viking (42km): min. age 18 years old
Ultra Viking (60km): min. age 18 years old
