Course Description:

After 1000 years the Vikings are back in Belgium! This edition takes place in the terrain of the Provinciaal Domein in Puyenbroeck, near the city of Ghent. At this very location, where the Vikings fought with King Boudewijn I of Flanders, you will have to conquer a track of 7+, 13+ or 19+km filled with mud & Viking-themed obstacles! Are you and your friends not afraid to get a little dirty?
BACK in Belgium: now you can also run the Iron Viking during the Mud Edition in Gent! Due to popular demand it is now possible to participate in the ultimate obstacle run challenge during the Mud Edition. Get ready for 42km and 100+ obstacles and kilometers of mud. If you finish within the 7.5 hrs time limit you will earn the most-wanted medal/beer opener in Belgium, the Iron Viking medal! Do you and your friends dare to take on this legendary challenge?

Free! Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.

Other:

After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
