Course Description:
North Berwick boasts an explosive past and our course provides a reminder of that, set in the shadow of a great lump of volcanic rock called North Berwick Law.
The course centres around two lakes and a vertical, 20m-high crag called Balgone Heughs, so hills and water are in plentiful supply.
The normally tranquil lakes are surrounded by fantastic but very, very muddy woodland trails, which combine with rugged, open farmland to make a truly outstanding autumn event experience – and that’s before we even start building our 30 punishing obstacles!
Be prepared for mud, hills, water, fire, more mud and ice as we put you through our gruelling 10K and 10 Mile courses.
Prizes:
There will be spot prizes on the day for things such as the fastest team and best fancy dress etc.
The fastest team is based on the time the fourth team member crosses the line.
Spectators:
Spectators are free but we would welcome a small donation.
Parking:
On site parking is charged at £5 per car so please car share where possible.
Post Party:
Total Warrior events are much more than just a race!
We encourage participants to hang out for the day, cheer on fellow Warriors, have a beer, enjoy the music and share stories about the event and obstacles.
Other:
For the 2015 Total Warrior events we are very excited to announce that we are welcoming a new charity partner, which is Wooden Spoon (the Children’s Charity of Rugby).
Once again we are proud to continue to support Help for Heroes, the Great North Air Ambulance and Prostate Cancer UK.
