Course Description:
Can you Survive with Rick, Glenn and the others? Climb, crawl, hide and slide your way through the Official Obstacle Course of The Walking Dead! The lucky will reach the safety zone and clear Quarantine testing... the doomed will embrace the inevitable and join the undead.
The average time of completion is 35-45 minutes. The Walking Dead Escape is not a race. No one is timed, and you are not required to run, but the slow usually die for a reason. You will not be disqualified if you cannot complete an obstacle.
Be prepared to climb, crawl, and slide. Depending on the encountered Walker, you may need to move briskly or lightly jog in an effort to avoid infection.
The course has been specifically designed for participants with a wide range of abilities. Each obstacle is created to include an “easier route” for participants with limited physical abilities. The Evacuation Route will feature multiple obstacles such as cargo nets and barricades.
Your only obstacle isn’t being chased by walkers. You will climb, jump, slide, crawl, through our Chain Link Mega Zone, Herd Highway, Hospital Hell and more! Test your skills and stamina and find your way to the Decontamination Zone in order to survive the Apocalypse. Some of the obstacles will include:
- Evacuation Zone - You thought you were escaping the virus, but your military-guarded safe zone has been compromised. Break through the zombie chaos and begin the run to Survive.
- Herd Highway - Herds of zombies have overrun a highway of abandoned cars. Hide and dash your way through the congested dead zone - but be strategic! Herds are attracted by smells, sounds and quick movement!
- Hospital Hell - Rick woke from his coma in a zombie-infested hospital. Navigate the undead Doctors and destroyed equipment to escape the crumbling medical facility.
- The Prison Gauntlet - Rick's group hasn't cleared this prison block yet. Crawl your way through the barricades and chain link fences to escape the infested penitentiary.
- Quarantine - Just when you think you're safe... FEMA teams must run highly confidential scientific tests on you to find out if you've been infected!
Aid Stations:
There are water stations on the course.
Spectators:
$20. You get full access to all spectator areas throughout the course, the after-party, and the merch area. Bring your camera because you're going to get some great pics!

Survivor Rules
- All participants are expected to be respectful, safe, and courteous on and off the course. The course was designed to create a fun experience; common sense applies.
- We ask that Survivors do not “fight back” should you come in contact with a Walker. There is no point - you’re doomed anyways.
- Absolutely no weapons allowed (real or otherwise).
- You must start with your registered Evacuation wave time in order to participate.
- Survivors must be 14 years of age on the date of the event to participate - no exceptions. All Walkers and Survivors under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver form on race day. Should participants under 16 not have a form of photo ID, Parent/Guardian photo ID will be accepted.
- No handheld devices (cameras, video cameras, water bottles, etc.) are allowed on the course. You may use GoPro or other non-handheld devices.
- If you come in contact with a Walker during the course, you will still be able to complete the course in its entirety.
- Sensible footwear applies - close-toed shoes/sneakers strongly suggested. Absolutely NO flip flops allowed.
- Costumes are allowed; but not zombie costumes. It’s unfair to others to pretend to be part of the undead.
- The goal of the Walker is to haunt your assigned grounds as brutally and as brainlessly and brutally as possible.
- All Walkers receive professional makeup and training prior to their shift.
- Walkers must arrive 2 hours prior to their registered wave time for registration, makeup and training. No exceptions for late arrivals.
- Walkers must be 14 years of age on the date of the event to participate - no exceptions.
- Walkers can keep their makeup on after finishing their shift.
Government Scientists will be waiting at the Evacuation Zone to perform a highly confidential scan to determine whether or not participants have been infected by the virus.
