Race Start Time:
First heat will begin at 7 a.m. and will consist of competitive runners.
Subsequent heats will begin in 10 minute increments and the number of heats will be dependent on the number of runners.

Course Description:
Our course consists of hills, loops and plenty of turns. We have numerous mud pits, rope inclines, wading lakes, steep inlcines, tire obstacles and a special hill we have dubbed the Matterhorn for its incline and winding decline. The children's run cosists of sloping hills, water, mud and tires but is not extremely challenging. All ages from toddler to pre-teen can participate.
Aid Stations:
We have doctors and paramedics at the scene for the entire race.
We also have a medical aid station.
Water stations are provided throughout the course and water is given to runners at the end of the race.
Awards:
Those who win their division will receive a medal. We have various divisions for individuals and teams. We have a special SWAT team division for law enforcement agencies to send their finest to compete for the prize. Results will be listed on large flat screens at the finish line.
Spectators:
Spectators are free. They are not permitted on the actual course but there are many vantage points from which they can watch the entertainment.
All in attendance get a great view of our opening ceremonies and will see our SWAT team make a tactical entrance from the helicopter.
Parking:
Parking is free. Carpooling is recommended as the road to the race is narrow and traffic tends to back up.
Other:
Our mud run is 100% for charity. The San Bernardino Sheriff's Athletic Federation hosts the mud run each year. The run is organized by volunteers and all of the money goes to the SAF, which is a 501c organization. The SAF promotes health and physical fitness for department members and also donates thousands of dollars to other area charities.
This run is family-friendly and offers a great, healthy event for members of law enforcement, as well as those who love a good challenge.
Team:
Our teams consist of five people. Teams must start the race with their arms linked and end the same way for their times to count. We encourage teams for businesses who want to promote comraderie and 'team building.' Many teams come up with clever names and constumes. Businesses also do the same in order to draw attention to their company or product, as it is displayed on their constume.
