Course Description:
There will be a total of 15 obstacles. Each obstacles are build to become the perfect ninja's playground. Obstacles can be described as crazy, fun, and unique challenges that will be as hard as it is fun. The most unique feature surrounding our obstacles are the use of non-newtonian liquid, giving the competitors the chance to experience how it feels to run on water. This unique liquid will keep a runner afloat as long as they keep moving, but once a person slows down, they will find themselves sinking in a colorful thick pile of oobleck. Other courses will feature courses that will have a runner jumping and climbing their way through our parkour inspired courses.
Aid Stations:
There will be aid stations at certain areas of the event. Paramedics will be on standby during the event, and water stations will also be set up in certain parts of the race for runners. Snacks and water will be provided after the race for runners.
Awards:
There will be an after party for runners to celebrate their accomplishments, but no actual award ceremony. The event is an 18 and over event.
Spectators:
Spectators of all ages are welcome to join in the festivities. There will be a designated viewing area for spectators. There will also be an area with live music, vendors, and sponsor tents. Spectators can also get in free with three cans of food for our food drive at the event. Pricing is $5.00 at the door.
Parking:
There will be a $5.00 parking fee at the event. Carpooling is recommended. The parking area is within the vicinity and will be an estimated 2 minute walk to the event area.
Post Party:
There will be a post-party with live music/djs from some of the most talented musician in the sacramento area. Food vendors and sponsor tents are also available at the event.
Other:
This event is partnered with the local charity loaves and fishes of sacramento to help raise money for food and programs for individuals in need of help. There will also be a food can drive at the event. To race in the event you have to be 18 or older, but there will be no age requirements for spectators. There will also be a gear check in area, as well as portables, washing area, and changing area for after the race.
Team:
There are team registrations but are no actual teams for the event. There will be a discount for runners registering as a team of 4 people or more. Teams and individuals are encourage to dress up in their favorite costumes, or character.
