Course Description:
The race will be held on Milestone MX track. It will use most of the track and will go off track at times for specific obstacles. Beside the jumps, hills, whoops, berms etc of the mx track, various obstacles and mud will be added such as Hell Crawl, Tread Mountain, Pole Valley, Sandbag Alley, The Trenches and more. The obstacles will be challenging but are designed to be handled by most everyone who races. The idea of Bodcross isn't as much as if you can complete the race or conquer and obstacle as much it is about how fast you can get it done. In other words, this is a real race and as much as the track will challenge you, you are there to race head to head against those in your class.
BODCROSS is a human running event generally held on a motocross or supercross style track where a runner or ""boder"" lines up behind the motocross style starting gate, and at the drop of the gate will be challenged by more than 15 obstacles per lap. The track and obstacles change each event and are not known until the day of the event. Each evolution is 15-20 minutes long which makes it more of a sprint based race and is a two "evolution" format. Our motto...Race, Recover & Repeat encapsulates the ability of an athlete to go all out, recover and go for it again! In addition, the boder's placings in each evolution are added together for a daily placing, for example: Second place in first evolution and fourth place in second evolution results in six points. The boder with the lowest score for the day is the winner. If boders tie, whichever boder did better in the second evolution wins the tie. In a race series event, points are accumulated for an overall race series champion.
