Course Description:
Our goal is to challenge you and push you to your limits with a combination of running broken up by various military style obstacles. The course is designed for people of all fitness levels to enjoy and have a good time. There will be plenty of volunteers at each obstacle to give you a hand if you need it, but be sure to give it your best effort!
The 6th Annual Shasta Mud Run at the McConnell Foundation's Ross Ranch offers an extra muddy 5K challenge course for all ages and skill levels and a 10K with obstacles for those serious athletes.
Aid Stations:
There are multiple aid/ water stations throughout the course and finish line.

Spectators are free of charge , event parking is $5.00 per car
Parking:
$5.00 per car for parking. Pre-Paid parking available during registration
Post Party:
You don’t want to miss out! There will be a FREE onsite After Party right next to the finish line, which means you have GREAT VIEWS of the last 3 obstacles!!! Live music from 11am-4pm. Food and beverages will be available to purchase from local food vendors. Beer will be available to purchase, provided by Woody’s Brewing Co. and Redding Distributing. Everyone can attend the After Party!!

The Shasta Mud Run is an essential fundraiser for the Youth Violence Prevention Council and its programs. Your participation in 2018 Shasta Mud Run supports our mission to serve youth and families, and to work toward reducing youth violence, increasing leadership skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyles in our community.
Children 10 and under will have a blast in the FREE Mini Muddies Mud Pit Play Area.
