Course Description:
50,000 gallons of water bring the mud to life. We have 20 fixed obstacles: Rooting Hill, Back Side, The Slide, Steeple Chase, Balancing Act, Monkey See, Crawling Dead, Up & Under, Big & Bigger, Hanging Out, The Viper Pit, Gully Trap, Lil' Humps, Pond Scum & We Dare You. Also we have 4 zombie fields, great food, amazing live music and the liveliest racers you0ve ever seen! Its Killer Cardio at it.
There will be mud. The race of your life is decked out with obscene quantities of mud, twenty beastly obstacles, and scores of dirty zombies determined to turn you into the Running Dead.
When you start the course you will have 3 flags. Flags represent health. You get 3, so protect them. If the zombies get all your flags you can find a ""medic"", perform a task, and get a flag. No flags at the finish? You're ""infected"". If you race as a team of 4, all you need is one flag among you a the finisg to be ""healthy"".

Parking:
$10. Parking is across the street. You will enter the parking lot on Cedar Creek Road, across from the venue, and exit on Torboro Rd.
Post Party:
The Fire pit (Wake Forest) will have plenty of serious BBQ and beverages on hand. Additional beer can be purchased from White St. Brewing Co. Live Music (TBD)
Other:
You can pick up your race packet 9/11 from 4pm to 6:30pm at Omega Sports at North hills Shopping Center.
If you are 13 or older on race day (9.12.2015) you can participate without supervision. 12 or under you must be accompanied at all times by paying parent ofr guadian, and register for the Family Wave at noon.
You can check your gear on-site. We will have a very large tent with lots of space and lots of volunteers to make sure you can drop it off and pick it up without difficulty. Also we'll have bathrooms (7 women - 5 men).
The lake crossing is 4 to 5 feet deep depending on recent rainfall. There are two-guide ropes you can use to pull yourself along, and we have a lifeguard on duty. but if you are not comfortable going in you will be allowed to walk around with no penalty. FYI - the lake water is shocked with clorine the week of the race.
