Course Description:
Man-made obstacles will include whatever we can dream up, but you can expect things built from logs, large and huge tires, rope, round bales, concrete culverts, flatbed trailer(s), and salvaged vehicles.
This run offers a challenge to warrior folk and tough guys and gals looking to put themselves to the test or beat their friends to the finish. It’s also completely cool if you’re not so much with the competition and just want to have some fun at a more leisurely pace.
Teams and costumes are encouraged!
Aid Stations:
There will be water available for participants half way through the race and at the finish.
Awards:
Awards will be presented at the finish line after winners of all age groups have crossed the finish line. If you are designated as a winner, please stick around for the presentation. First and second place overall for boys and girls will receive medals. First place overall Man and Woman will receive the coveted MMR Shoe in addition to their cash prize and MMR medal. Second place overall Man and Woman will receive a cash prize and MMR medal. First and second place medals will also be awarded to men and women in the following age groups: 20 and under, 21 to 40, and 41 and over.
Spectators:
Spectators are free to come.
Parking:
There is plenty of free parking there and on the streets around the island.
Post Party:
There will be hot drinks, light snacks, and bottled water will be available for purchase.
Team:
All participants need to register individually. If you are part of a team, please make sure all team members register and place the same Team Name in the Team Name box on the registration form. If racing as an individual, the Team Name box should be left blank.
Please note, if you are part of a team, the time of the last team member to cross the finish line will be recorded as the team's finish time.
