Course Description:
Obstacles include Teeter Walk, Muddy Tires, Spider Web, Sand Run, The Hurdler, The Climb, Hay Bale Wall, Cargo Dome, Culvert Crawl.
Tromp through tires filled with water and mud /
Make your way through an intricate web of rope / Climb up and jump off
an 8-12 feet wall of hay / Make your way through fresh turned sand /
Balance across a 2 foot wide teeter-tauter / Jump over the hurdles to
make it to the smooth boardwalk / Climb up the side of “Mount
Tippecanoe” on a cargo net / Belly crawl through the sand under a
secured net / Crawl on hands and knees through large culvert tunnels
Awards:
Cash awards for top 3 overall Male and Female in 5K & 10K
Medal awards in 13 Age Groups for 5K & 10K
Parking:
As you enter the Sports Park parking area, participant parking will be directed to the right along a small lake.
Post Party:
Post race entertainment, food, games and raffle
Other:
1 Mile Adult Walk and Kids Fun Run (12 & Under) starts at 9:00 a.m.
Chip timing will be provided by Zoomers of Southwest Florida Running Club
The 5K & 10K Trail Runs will be limited to one hour and thirty
minutes. All runners still on the course at the limit will be notified
the race has been concluded and will be asked to proceed to the finish
to turn in their chips.
