Course Description:
Racers will ascend the "Purgatory" course and conquer obstacles themed after the 7 Deadly Sins, before entering the pearly gates and the "Beer Garden of Eden". Obstacles include climbing over cargo nets, running through the river, crawling through mud pits, darting through fire and trudging up steep terrain and much more.....
Aid Stations:
During the race, there will be two water & medical aid stations on the race course.
Awards:
Top 3 male & female will win a spiffy Devil Dash custom prize.
Parking:
$10. Please help the environment and save a few bucks by carpooling. Parking Fee $10.
Post Party:
Once you finish the race, the Beer Garden of Eden awaits. After the race, each Devil (or Angel) will receive one free beer* served by our Beer Garden Angels. Additional beer and food items will be available for purchase, including vegetarian options in the Beer Garden of Eden. Remember, no outside food or drinks will be allowed! Please support our local food vendors. Security will be enforcing the area.
Other:
No pets please. There is fire, mud and loud music and lots of racers. Not a place for dogs, cats or chickens. No glass containers. And please no outside alcoholic beverages or food items (please support our local food & beer vendors). This event is not particularly designed to be child friendly, so you might want to leave the Lil' Devils at home.
Photographers will be throughout the course taking photos available for
purchase post-race. There will also be a ""The Devil Made Me Do It""
photo station in the beer garden for you to take your own photos in
front of. Additional information about where to purchase photos will be
available post-race.
Chip timing..... Chips must be turned in at the finish line in order to receive your free beer.
Participants must be 14 years-old or older on race day in order to participate.
Gear check will be available for racers to check their items during the
race. You will need to pick up your bib first as your item will held
according to your bib #. Feel free to leave your keys, t-shirt, hat,
wallet, and all those items you don't want to carry with you during the
race! Devil Dash assumes no liability for lost or stolen items at the
race or in gear check.
You will have to traverse some bodies of water, but most aren't higher than knee deep and none require you to swim.
There will be a Cleanse Your Sins station to rinse off near the finish line, but stay home if you don’t like getting dirty!
Team:
There's no team division, but you're welcome to sign up with some friends/family/co-workers. Just make sure to all sign up for the same wave.
