Course Description:
This event is a 5k obstacle course that will take part at Q-Pond Park and Clay Street Gym in Osceola. The run will be over flat and rough terrain and will have obstacles along the path to test a runner's agility and ability. The run will start at Q-Pond Park and end at the Clay Street Gym across the street from the park.
Awards:
Awards will be given out in a few different categories based on the different obstacles along the course.
Post Party:
After the 5K, there will be a complimentary dinner for all participants (included in your all day race price) and some live music. There will be a beer tent if you feel like something a little more congratulatory on a job well done.
At 4pm, the outdoor activities will shut down and we will move inside The Loft on Clay for the Iron Track Awards Dinner & Banquet. You will get a bottomless cup, which is good for keg beer and soda pop (included in your all day race price). There will be a dinner served along with some fun games and some auction items.
Other:
The proceeds from the event go to helping build trails in the Osceola community. In fact, the Iron Track Challenge course will take place on a trail that is set to be paved in part this October. So even if you don't run, you still have plenty of ways to help contribute to this great cause and we hope to see you there!
