Memorial Beach Challenge Memorial Beach Challenge is proud to organize and host an annual event that brings together athletes and families for a day of competition and comradery—but also to honor those who have served and support the heroes still in the fight. 100% of the proceeds from the event benefit The 31Heroes Project, Navy SEAL Foundation, and Travis Manion Foundation. These organizations specialize in creating programs, financial support systems and future opportunities for service members, veterans and their families.

With an ocean stand-up paddleboard race, a soft-sand adventure race—featuring Navy SEAL-approved obstacles—and even a Fun Run for kids, the Memorial Beach Challenge event has something for individual athletes and teams of all ages. But beyond the races that test our own physical and mental strength, the day is about honoring those whose sacrifice, strength, and bravery helps preserve the freedom we enjoy every day. The event closes with a moving memorial service, ensuring that the legacies of our heroes are never forgotten.

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of extreme or seriously inclement weather, the events may be called off. The events will not be rescheduled and all funds will be donated to One Team One Fight.

Course Description:

Utilizing actual Navy SEAL-inspired obstacles and the challenge of soft-sand running on a two-mile stretch of shoreline, the Obstacle Course is a test of physical and mental toughness. Obstacle descriptions are top secret until May 24, when they’ll be posted here, and unveiled on race day.

Aid Stations:

Two Stations with paramedics will be on the course. there will also be water stations.

Awards:

Awards will be on the Ocean City Music Pier after the race.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and welcome.
To close this unforgettable day, the winner of the SUP Ocean Challenge will have the privilege of leading a paddle out to a special “Laying of the wreath” to honor veterans and fallen heroes. Accompanied by the music of live bagpipers, the powerful ceremony is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of our heroes and the legacies they have left to inspire us all.
The Paddle Out is free to all loved ones of service members, and any American patriot called to honor.

Bring your family and plan to spend all day at this classic venue enjoying BattleFrog’s Festival “Compound” with our unique and exciting Navy SEAL displays, activities and live-action demonstrations
