Course Description:
This run was designed for everyone from the pro athlete to the first timer out to see what all the hype is about. The morning waves are timed they are also qualifying waves for both OCRWC and NorAm Championships (Obstacle Course World Championships and North American Championships)
Aid Stations:
We will have two water stations on the course along with another at the finish line.
There will be two paramedics on site during the event with volunteers through out the course with radios.
Awards:
There will be an award for the top overall Male and Female. There will also be first, second, and third in each age group.
For OCRWC and NorAm qualifying we will take the top 7 Male/ Female in each age group in competitive waves (50% rule applies) on any age group that does not have more than 14 qualified finishers.
Mandatory obstacle completion and you must finish with your band.
Spectators:
The black Swamp Runner Course is very spectator friendly. A lot of obstacles can be seen from the grandstands and several obstacles are located within a short walk. We encourage family and friends take pictures to capture that special moment.
Parking:
Parking is $10.00 per car and is handled by the Ottawa County Fair Grounds.
Parking is abundant and very close to the course and after party area.
Due to the proximity of parking there will be no bag check.
Other:
We will have a bag check ($5 cash only) and it will be located in or near the registration barn
We have several wash off hoses for your convenience. Please be respectful of others while washing off
We will have two changing tents near the wash off racks.
Our participants must be at least 13 years old on the day of the race and a guardian must sign their waiver and be present.
Although we have water, mud, and muck none of it is deep there is no swimming and we do not allow diving of any kind!
