Course Description:
Steeplechase - The Original is now in its 9th year and it's still ALL about the obstacles. There are 100 on the 10k course, and 50 on the 5k course. That's one every 100m across the entire course! The10kers follow a separate route to the 5kers, with the last few kilometres shared by all. The obstacles range from smallish horse jumps to large jumps that are guaranteed to challenge everyone. And we can't forget the freezing river wade (over 100m of icy water), the stinky mud pit and our forest run.
As you near the end of the race (and your legs feel like jelly), you will arrive at the infamous Pumpkin Run. As you enter the specially designed and timed course, you will be given a Pumpkin by one of our expert staff. You will then have to complete 200m with 10 obstacles barring your way, as fast as you can!
