Course Description:
A 4km run along the picturesque Port Macquarie beachfront with 21 obstacles to test your fitness, agility and patience. 21 obstacles along the beach, some in the water, some uphill climbs.
Aid Stations:
There will be a first aid trained marshal at each obstacle and a first aid station manned by trained first aiders. There will be 3 water stations along the course.
Prizes:
The day is more about fun but there will be minor prizes for costume, effort, sportsmanship etc.
Spectators:
Spectators are free and can roam most of the course freely besides coming to the post party.
Parking:
There is limited parking at the event itself so walking or carpooling is recommended.
Post Party:
There will be DJs and music throughout the entire event, continuing until 9 pm. There will be BBQ, chips fruit bars, fruit, soft drinks and coffee on sale.
Other:
ALL of the proceeds from the event go to support headspace Port Macquarie, Marine Rescue Port Macquarie and the Port Macquarie Aurora Lions Club.
Minimum age is 8 yrs. Children 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult.
While some of the obstacles are in the water you don't need to be able to swim to complete the course.
Team:
We strongly encourage teams of 4. There is a discounted rate for participating in a team - as well as it being a lot more fun in a team!
