Course Description:
14 obstacles spread throughout scenic Arrowhead Park. The majority of the course is on trails that wind through the woods, around the lake, and through open campground clearings. The course is up and down hilly through the first mile and then levels off with one killer hill at the end. Obstacles are moderate compared to ""hardcore"" events and meant to be challenging but able to be completed by all.
Aid Stations:
Water Stations will be available at the 1 and 2 Mile marks as well as the Finish Line. Volunteers will be available to call in aid at every obstacle and water station. Local Ambulance and EMT's will be on site.
Awards:
Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the Competitive Wave will receive a shiny medal.
Spectators:
Spectators are free.
Parking:
Parking is free! Please carpool, parking space is limited.
Other:
Arrowhead Obstacle Trail Run is a non profit event in our 3rd year benefiting the Pottawattamie County Trails Association. Our goal is to put on a fun, affordable event that utilizes the trails of Arrowhead Park and raises money to build a paved bike and running trail.
