Wairua Warrior There will be 15+ obstacles ranging from Hercules Hoist, mud, ropes, barbed wire, climbing walls and did we mention mud. Some obstacles will require physical strength while others will need endurance and balance.
Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned athlete The Wairua Warrior has something for you.
Race as an individual or get a team together. Challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone and come dressed as your favourite warrior

Course Description:

Join us for a fun action packed day for the whole whānau. We kick off the day with our traditional “Wero” (challenge) that sets the scene before we release our competitive categories. Then we let the “FUN” begin releasing waves of between 50-80 participants every 15 minutes. Challenge yourself as an individual or enter as a team - The Wairua Warrior is best experienced with whānau and friends.
The “FUN” doesn’t stop there as we finish the day with our Mini Warrior where kids aged between 5 - 8yrs and 9 - 13yrs take on our 2km Mini Warrior course with lots of fun obstacles finishing in our main festival arena. Wairua Warrior 2020 is going to be epic and you don’t want to miss out - So what are you waiting for? Register your whole whānau and let’s all “Unleash Our Inner Warrior” TOGETHER!
