Course Description:
The KING MUCK course will challenge the toughest of mudders on the old 9 hole golf course and white island venue on the shores of the scenic Lough Muckno.
The combination and variety of the landscape with steep hills, bog, forestry and lake plus the man made obstacles will test the physical and mental strengths of participants over the 8 km course.
Man made obstacles will include cargo-net climbs, 8ft high walls, river run, hay bale mountains, lake crossings, log, tyre & drum carry/drags, ice bath dips, inverted climbs, tyre maze, water slides and numerous muddy crawls, dips, wading and a few additional surprises!
Aid Stations:
Red Cross Ambulances and Paramedics as well as aid/water stations along the course.

Spectators are free
Parking:
Free parking in Castleblayney Town is available.
Other:
King Muck is being held to raise funds for the Carrickmacross Boxing Club and individual and team participants are encouraged to help raise funds for the Saoirse Foundation's BUMBLEance Children's Ambulance Service and/or their favourite charity.
You do not have to be able to swim, but you will get very wet.
We are also able to provide hot shower and changing facilities for all participants.
