The Mud Games The Mud Games, LLC was comprised and created to help promote health, wellness, fitness, and multiple charities. Continuously teaming up with several charities, while trying to inspire everyone to get out and give fitness a try! We believe fitness can be fun for everyone, if put in the right environment. An example of this in our inaugural race we aimed to have individuals whom may have been intimidated by a 5K by offering a 2.5K run. It had great success as we had over 1,500 participants sign up for the shorter course! Tony Horton has been an advocate of working with the obese and helping as many folks as possible to get involved with fitness and exercise. This is why he was the perfect candidate for us to bring into our inaugural race. Our company focuses on making a course that will be fun and challenging for everyone.

Our founders and directors grew up in the twin cities and have strong ties to Minnesota. We believe in benefiting the communities that raised us and connecting with those who helped us along the way. With our staff highly involved in Minnesota fitness today we aim to make Minnesota an even healthier state. In our future races we plan on making our 5K courses more difficult and keeping our 2.5K courses relatively the same as this is a stepping stone to get more highly involved into fitness.

Course Description:

The 2.5K is a good chance for beginners to try out a mud obstacle course. It is not meant for your extreme mud runner. The 5K has more obstacles, more mud, more running, and is a challenging course!

The 2.5K will have 6 obstacles
The 5K will have 12 obstacles

Aid Stations:

We will have 15+ medical staff present at all times. Including an ambulance with paramedics on-site.

We will have water at the finish line and on long course!

Awards:

Top 3 finishers for each course receive prizes!

Prizes:

Every participant has a chance to win a trip to Vegas just for participating in the mud games! The winner is drawn at 3:30pm. Also smaller prizes are given out such as Kindle Fires and giftcards to randomly drawn participants in a raffle.

Spectators:

Spectators are free! The best viewing area is at the start line and finish line! You can see the final two obstacles very well. However, you will not be able to roam the entire course. Spectators are welcome to stay for the post-party.

Parking:

Parking is $10.00

The parking lot is on-site and a short walk to the entertainment area! Carpooling is never a bad idea.

Post Party:

Post-party includes: Beer Gardens, DJ's, Band, Food, and vendors.
Food will be walking taco's and pizza
Beverage includes: beer, powerade, soda & water
Band: TBA

Other:

The Mud Games is proud to support The Children's Hospital and clinics of Minnesota! We also support some smaller youth organizations such as The Minnesota Heat Youth Basketball.
