Course Description:
Our obstacle course (PANDEMIC) consists of a number of obstacles that have been selected especially for this event. They will range from easy to difficult. However, we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time, so they will not be impossible to accomplish.
The Wisconsin Zombie Mud Run is your chance to prepare for the
apocalypse in this thrilling endurance race for your life that pits you
against pandemic (obstacle course) and the zombie horde. Face your fears
and try to survive the pandemic. Your mission: successfully navigate
the 5K course and all 13 obstacles, while attempting to avoid the
multitude of zombies and losing all 3 of your life lines. Crossing the
finish line with at least 1 life line intact is all that stands between
you and future greatness.
Aid Stations:
Staff is on site to administer first aid and get you back into the race if possible. If you are unable to continue, unfortunately we cannot refund your entry fee. In the event that our staff cannot give you the necessary first aid, you may opt to be transported to the nearest hospital. If you do go to the hospital, the responsibility of this decision rests entirely with you and any costs that may be incurred.
Spectators:
There is a designated viewing area
Parking:
Parking is $10 and here is why: there is limited parking available on the grounds, so think green and car pool with your team members.
Post Party:
Saturday, May 18th from 1pm-5pm. Leigh McNabb will co-host with Van “The Man” McNeil.
Other:
Q: What happens if all of my lifelines are taken by the Zombies?
A: Make it to the nearest “Vaccine Station,” where the staff will give you another lifeline. Your goal is to survive – if you have to cross the finish line with no lifelines, you finish among the dead.
Q: I am under 18 years old, what do I need to bring to run?
A: A race waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian which must contain the name of a person who can be notified in case of an emergency.
Q: I am not in the best of shape, can I still participate?
A: Absolutely, it is a fun, non-competitive event, where you can walk or rest as needed. You also have the option to bypass any obstacle that may be too difficult for you. It cannot hurt to speak to your physician prior to race day if you are still uncertain.
