Course Description:
The 5k course is relatively flat and has 23 obstacles. These are:
- Hade's Crossing: Pole walk
- Apocalypse: Hurdles
- The Baptism: Dumpster filled with water
- Noah's Nightmare: Water tunnel
- Rainbow: Paint throw
- Serpents: Creepy, crawly, hanging things
- Angel Food: Foam barn
- Devil Lights: Strobe lights
- Savior Swing: Rope swing
- Wicked Monkey: Bars, 'nuff said
- Worse than Locusts: Culvert crawl
- Mount Sinai: The hill
- Highway to Heaven: Climbing wall
- Dante's Hell: Tire run like the football player you never were
- The Inquisition: Tire pile
- Jonah's Whale: Run through tractor tires
- St. Hubert's Cathedral: Hay bales
- Devil's Dance: Elevated balance beam
- Ropewalk: Rope wall
- Path through Purgatory: Motor cross course
- Altar Boy's Revenge: Mud Crawl
- Lucifer's Toothpicks: Telephone pole jump
- Fire and Brimstone: Fire jump
Aid Stations:
Paramedics and firemen on standby!
Prizes:
Trophies will be awarded for the male and female who crosses the finish line first. To enter this contest, participants must start at the 8:00 am heat. This event will not be timed and it will be a scramble for who crosses the finish line first!
Trophy prize will also be awarded for the best costume. Judging to be done by the Slippery Saints Mud Run committee. All decisions final! Judging ends at 1:00 pm and will be announced shortly afterwards.
Spectators:
Spectators are free in certain areas and can also enter the beer garden / music area to celebrate with their muddy friends. Or they can join in on the fun and get muddy with their friends!
Parking:
Parking is free!
Post Party:
Yes, there will be a beer garden with music venue. This will be a live band (DJ when the band is not playing).
Other:
There will be a shower area available after you run the event. Firemen will also be there to hose you down.
Team:
Teams of 4 or more are offered a $5 discount per person.
