Course Description:
The route is likely to be muddy. There will be natural hazards such as tree roots, low branches, loose stones, uneven surface, mole holes and rabbit holes and is potentially dangerous. You will get wet within the first couple of obstacles. You will have to go under, over, around and through obstacles but if you do not feel comfortable completing any obstacle please simply continue on the run avoiding the obstacles – we want you to enjoy the race and not give you anxiety.
The route will take you through fields, across roads, along footpaths, through woods and down tracks and across farmed fields.
We may alter or omit some obstacles on the day or the route may vary depending on weather, ground conditions or by request of estate farm management.
Aid Stations:
The Red Cross will be on duty throughout the day at various points of the course with a fixed unit at the finish line. There will also be a 4×4 emergency vehicle along the route. If you suffer an injury or see someone who needs assistance, please inform the nearest marshal who will call for first aid.
Spectators:
Spectators are free to roam around the course freely, but must stay off the obstacles.
Parking:
This is located in the middle of the event. It will be clearly sign posted and marshals will direct you to your parking spot. Parking is free so please refrain from parking on the surrounding roads or in the village.
Other:
You will be unable to take anything on the run with you so please use the bag drop facility. However, all items are left at your own risk and we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items. Keys, phones and gadgets need to be placed in an envelope provided and your name and race number printed on the front. Bags will also be labelled with your name and race number.
