Course Description:
The course is 7 kilometers up and down the lower mountain of Titus Mountain Family Ski Center. 19 obstacles will be found throughout the course ranging from mud obstacles such as a barbed wire crawl and stepping stones, strength obstacles such as heighted walls and a sand bag carry, and endurance obstacles such as a hill climb and spider's web.
This course is standard for obstacles but may be more difficult in terms of running terrain.
Aid Stations:
There will be at least 3 aid stations available with water and nutrients. Volunteer paramedics/EMTs will be on standby.
Spectators:
There is a gate fee for spectators that includes entrance to the post-party. Spectators will be able to view parts of the lower course from designated viewer areas.
Parking:
Parking is included in the price for both competitors and spectators. Parking is in the mountain lots so carpooling is recommended as there is a finite amount of space.
Post Party:
Live music. Food. Beer. Prizes. Pride. Mud.
Other:
All race proceeds to benefit the Champlain Valley Search and Rescue K9 Unit. Money is used for deployment, training, gear, and products for their school education programs. Competitors must be 16+ (parental waiver required for under 18).
The event will be timed, however, chip timing may not be available.
Team:
There is a small discount for teams of 4. Teams must cross the finish line together.
