Udderly Muddy Rugged Run The Udderly Muddy Rugged Run is a fun, mud-filled fundraiser for Beaver Camp's summer camp program. Teams will start at the Lewis County Fairgrounds in Lowville, NY and run to Maple Ridge Center, where they will complete a series of challenges such as the Puddle Partner Paddle, Blazin Bulls-eye, Water Buffalo Wallow and more.

This race features a 3 mile run plus the challenges at Maple Ridge Center.

Course Description:

The Udderly Rugged Run takes participants throughout the Maple Ridge Center property: down the gravel driveway, up and down the snow tubing hill, through the woods, and around the horse racing track. The course features 10-15 obstacles, including hurdles, balance beam, and water balloon gauntlet.

Aid Stations:

Water will be available throughout the course.

Awards:

Prizes will be awarded based on time and costume.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and may watch from designated viewing areas. Friends and family are encouraged to take part in the water balloon gauntlet. They are invited to the post-race ice cream sundae social ($5 each, cash only).

Parking:

Parking is free! Signs and volunteers will direct you to the onsite parking lot at Maple Ridge Center.

Post Party:

The post-race party is an ice cream sundae social, in celebration of our community's heritage of dairy farming.

Other:

The Udderly Rugged Run is designed for participants age 13 and older. There is no swimming in the course. Showers are not available.

Team:

This is a solo event, though participants are encouraged to register with friends and family and run together, if they wish.
