Sign up for the time slot that works best for you.
Each time slot will be divided into heats.
The Elite heat starts at 9:00 a.m. with time slots every 1/2 hour until 12:00.

Long Island Adventure The Long Island Adventure Race is not a typical 'Mud Run' or a Running Race. Having a mud pit and simply getting you dirty isn't enough. Our goal is to combine unique obstacles and challenges, along with running or walking in an exciting atmosphere. The race is a well thought out event that can satisfy not only the most seasoned athlete but the weekend warrior as well. Our course is designed so all ages and abilities can have a great time.

You can choose to compete against other individuals, run for fun or just push yourself to do something that you can tell your friends about. Although, no need to tell your friends if they are along side of you.

We also have a unique 3-person team segment. This team competition currently has several groups already talking smack. Who will win the the bragging rights? Will the Cross-Fit groups from the city beat the Long Island groups or will the Planet Fitness group win it all. Only time will tell.

Course Description:

New race course for 2014, we like to keep our obstacles a secret. The course is dirt trails with a few hills!

Aid Stations:

Paramedic are on site for the duration of the event.
Two water stations with fruit and water at the finish line.

Spectators:

Free Spectators with designated viewing area.

Parking:

There will be a $10 Parking Fee at this event. Profits from parking will be donated to charity.

Other:

Minimum age is 8, Kids race on the same course with the adults.
Obstacles are coded with a Black Diamond for more challenging and Green Circle for less challenging, participants choose at these obstacles.
LI Adventure Race is donating to several local charities.
Race will be timed with a chip timer, gear check is available.
Local Fire Department ""hose down"" and changing area on site.

Team:

Teams are welcome, we love their spirit and camaraderie! Team registration is different this year, everyone will register as an individual for the heat time that they want. On the registration page you have the opportunity to create or join a team, the creator will be the team captain and can choose to create a password if they want to control who can join their team. You are not limited on how large your team is but understand that heat times are limited in numbers so racers joining later may not be able to get into the same heat time if it is already at maximum capacity.
