Course Description:
Terrain is a great mix of rugged tracks, forest roads, streams, bogs, and open grassy areas, where you’ll be leaping, clambering, crawling and swinging your way through our awesome obstacles. There will be approx 20 key obstacles not including natural obstacles.
Aid Stations:
St Johns Ambulance will be providing all medical cover in accordance with their guidelines for participant numbers, there will be medically qualified staff up to Doctor level, inc paramedics on site.
There will be refreshments at the finish line and three planned water stations on the course.
Prizes:
Top three finishers will receive a bundle of items from Thermatech, such as base layers. The details of this have yet to be finalised with Thermatech.
Spectators:
Free with limited roaming
Parking:
Free. Car pooling or public transport recommended. Details will be on the event page on the Rough Runner site in the run up to the event – when train time tables from London Waterloo are confirmed.
Post Party:
Food vendors and post event warm down.
Other:
Our event is taking a new look at OCRs. Yes it's great to push yourself to the limits of your pain threshold, but what about fun? What about running 10 miles with a smile on your face instead of a grimace? Almost all our obstacles are inspired by the TV game-shows we grew up with.
Team:
Yes, teams are welcome. Each teams overall time will be that of their slowest finisher. Team discounts are available, please call via numbers on our website for details.
