First heat at 8:00am followed by a heat every hour until 3:00pm.
2k Puppy Dawg heat at noon.

Course Description:
The course begins with an area designed to thin the crowd so there is no waiting at any obstacle. We have a few obstacles in the first half mile. The middle part of the course is the most hilly. No real long hills but quite a few steep ones. We will have a total of 30 obstacles, some easy, some not so easy, but all are ""doable"". A Cargo net climb, walls, windows, some crawling, water (swimming ability is NOT needed), a water slide, every obstacle is different. The toughness on the course depends on how hard you try to do it. No matter your shape, you will be tested. If not in shape, you will still be able to complete it.
Aid Stations:
We have a volunteer nursing staff and athletic trainer on site.
3 water stations on the course and free fruit and water at the finish line.
Prizes:
$1000.00 each for the top male and female finisher, $500.00 for each second place $250.00 for both thirds and $100 for a fourth place finish.
Additionally, 22 first place winners in each age category. 11 winners each in the male and female 5k age categories. (If any of the top 4 runners are in your age category, we will pay the first runner after)
Lastly, the first place male and female winner of the 2k Puppy Dawg Dash will also win $50.
Spectators:
Spectators are free. They can roam a lot of the course, but some of it is off limits. The biggest part of the course is within view.
Parking:
Parking is free but carpooling is recommended.
Post Party:
We do have music provided by ""James"" throughout the day. We do provide the competitors a free drink of their choice to fill their mugs. We do have an assortment of beverages and food to purchase while there at an unreasonably fair price.
Other:
We are a not for profit organization who gives everything except operating expenses to charity. No one on the board or any of the volunteers are compensated. The website lists those programs we have already helped.
We do time our event and publish the results on the website both overall finish place and by age and gender group.
We provide a gear check and a clean up area after.
We ""prefer"" kids to be 14 to run the Big Dawg but have allowed younger if their parents sign the waiver. The Puppy Dawg Race is designed for beginners and runner 10 and up.
There will be 2 cleanup stations
Team:
No official teams but if you have a group of 10, only 9 pay and the 10th is free.
Just mail the Big Dawg the information and will enter the information from there to insure you get the discount.
