Course Description:
The River Dash will take place within the wooded park trails of Capitol View Park. The terrain is will be dirt, gravel, grass, and of course some mud. It is challenging, but all trails will be wide enough for walkers if you need to take a break.
As for the obstacles, there will be walls, crawling, jumping, and climbing. You might find yourself running through a creek or sliding through into the Kentucky River. All will be challenging, but this is no boot camp! Each obstacle will have a walk around, so if a participant doesn’t think they can pull it off, they can just jog or walk around.

Paramedics / Nurses On Site ( and participating throughout the event)
Water , fruit, full meal provided at completion of race

Spectators:
Spectators Are Free.
Parking Is Free. Designated Viewing Areas Are Clearly Marked At Beginning & End Of Race
Parking:
Free Parking At The Event Location. We do encourage all carpooling if at all possible.
Post Party:
Music / DJ will be at the event with full meal provided at the conclusion of the race
Other:
100% of the proceeds of this race go directly to the Sparrow Mission Children's Home in San Pedro Sula Honduras. Several of our non profit members will be coming to the US for the event.
Kids race is $10.00 ( ages 6 to 11) and they can run their course multiple times.
Swimming is not required
There is a shower / changing area, but most people jump in the Kentucky River to clean off
Team:
Teams can be as large as you would like and team members do not have to start during the same flight! You just need a minimum of 5 members to compete in the “Beat the Guard” or team competition. A total team time will be generated by averaging the Top 5 individual times.
