Race Start Time:
The first runner's start time is 9AM. Competitive Class runners will begin at one minute intervals; Pro Division will be staggered every five minutes. Runners will be assigned start times the week before the race. Check-in will begin at 8AM.

Course Description:
COMPETITIVE DIVISION: The Competitive Division is open to everyone and includes classes for those entering with or without a dog. Our goal for the Competitive Division is a course that is fun, challenging, but still ""doable.""
Whether you and your dog walk this course with friends or you run for the trophies, we guarantee you will feel a sense of pride when you cross that finish line!
SEARCH & RESCUE HANDLERS! *Search Dog Organization of North America has sponsored a sub-class of this division exclusively for Search & Rescue handlers and their dogs.* There will be trophies for the top 3 finishers, along with monetary prizes. Please sign up for the Competitive K9 Division, then let the race timer know you are a SAR handler when you check in on race day.
PRO DIVISION: The Pro Division is open to any handler-dog teams interested in a more challenging course with cash payouts to the top 3 finishers. This class incorporates a few additional, more difficult obstacles and will require greater athleticism, stamina, and control from both handler and dog. *all canines must be outfitted with a lifting harness* (we suggest the Icon Air Harness from Ray Allen)
YOUTH DIVISION: The youth division is open to everyone 15 and under. Youth runners do not have to run with a dog, but are allowed to if they'd like.
Aid Stations:
There will be water stations on the course with first aid kits for minor issues. There will be a paramedic on site.
Awards:
In the Competitive Class, trophies will be awarded to the top five finishers, with and without a canine partner.
Prizes:
The Pro Division will have trophies awarded as well as $1000 cash split between the top three finishers.
Spectators:
Spectators may attend and camp on site for free.
Parking:
Parking is in an open field in full sun near the start line. Please come prepared with fans, sunshades, etc.
Post Party:
We will cook hamburgers and hot dogs on Friday night for $10 per person. Everyone is welcome to stay Sunday for a fun day of shooting and dog training
Other:
All dogs must be on leash AT ALL TIMES when out of a vehicle or crate.
Runners are responsible for maintaining control of their dogs, children, and spouses at all times.
We encourage participants to camp overnight at our facility Friday and/or Saturday night in tents or RVs free of charge. We will have restrooms and outdoor showers available for campers to use.
For those who would prefer to stay in a hotel, there are several options just 30 minutes from the race location.
Team:
Runners are welcome to race as a team, but there are no official teams.
