Course Description:
The 5 mile Survival MUD course is a multi-loop course with a lot of Mud, barbed wire crawls, Walls, crawls Hay bales, ropes station, etc on each loop. The terrain is basically flat except for man made motorcross dirt hills and jumps.
The obstacles include 2 wall climbs, MUD PIT, crawling in and out of a creek bed, barded wire crawl and a pipe to crawl through on each lap. The course consists of 3 loops of the 1.75 mile loop.
The team element is VERY UNIQUE. 5 person team with at least one member of the opposite sex on each team (4 guys/1 girl, 4 girls/1 guy, 2 guys/3 girls, etc.) All team members run the 5 mile survival course THEN, runner's #1 -#4 carry runner #5 on a military stretcher/gurney for one mile to the team finish line.
Aid Stations:
Paramedics will be on site as well as athletic trainers with 2 water stations on each 1.5 mile loop.
Awards:
CASH Awards for the Series top 3 teams and the top 3 overall individual series winners (based on scoring table) male and female.
Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged and FREE. Only extra fee is a $5.00 per vehicle fee to park per event.
Parking:
$5.00 per vehicle
Post Party:
The Post Race Party will include music, free beer (2 beer tickets per adult 21 years old & over). There will also be Health & Fitness vendors with products and services for sale. Post race snacks willbe available and other food items will be available for purchase. Our events are FUN and Family friendly.
Other:
Our team challenge is a One of a Kind team competition with Cash Prizes and a portion of all our proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Team:
Team are encouraged and are the MAIN focus of our Series. 5 person teams with at least one member of the opposite sex on each 5 person team. Team scoring for each series race leading up to the Cash Prizes at the November 12, 2016 Finale.
