Race Start Time:

The first heat starts at 8 am.
The last heat is at 12:40 pm.
The heats go every 20 minutes with about 150 people per heat.
There is not a special elite heat. The run is not timed.

Fittpalooza FITTPALOOZA5K does not include mud, trees, etc. Rather, the family-fun event is designed for people who do not like to, and probably never will, run in mud, climb trees, etc., but they want to experience the outdoor fitness challenges. For those who like the mud obstacles, but want a different experience, they are more than welcome to participate. FITTPALOOZA5K is powered by FitDeck (www.fitdeck.com), as seen on ABC's Shark Tank, ​to provide the participants with fitness challenges using the FitDeck Bodyweight exercise playing cards such as jumping jacks, push-ups, and squats at the FITT ZONES.

The FITTPALOOZA5K after-party will showcase different types of group exercises such as ZUMBA, kickboxing, and line dancing for participants and spectators. Participants are encouraged to do what they can and have fun doing it.

Course Description:

The course is flat with grassy and concrete areas. The obstacles are fitness challenges powered by FitDeck Bodyweigh exercise playing cards (www.fitdeck.com), as seen on ABC's SharkTank. So, participants will use their bodyweight to complete jumping jacks, push-ups, squats, and more at the approximately 14 FITT ZONES. The children will complete a 1/2 mile run using FitDeck Junior exercise playing cards.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics will be on standby. There will fruit and water at the finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators are free. They must stay in the midway area. They are most welcomed to the post-party.

Parking:

Parking is $7.
Carpooling is recommended.

Post Party:

The FITTPALOOZA5K after-party will showcase different types of group exercises such as ZUMBA, kickboxing, and line dancing for participants and spectators. Participants are encouraged to do what they can and have fun doing it.

Other:

The benefiting charities are The YMCA of Central Florida - Osceola YMCA and Oviedo YMCA Family Centers to support the Scholarship Fund, which offers assistance to individuals and families who may not be able to afford the stated membership fees.
There will be designated charity waves for both Ys. There will be Junior runs for the children.
The event is not timed.
Since there is no mud or lakes, showers and swimming are not required.
