Course Description:
The Cannonball Rush is a 5km run interspersed with 12+ obstacles. You will be running this course in and around Fort Henry, part of a World Heritage Site, which offers one of the most unique experiences of any obstacle course. Built in the 1830's we bring history into every aspect of the race. From starting the race with an actual 1850's Armstrong field gun, to jumping into and working your way through our dry ditches (moat), to carrying actual 150 year old cannonballs, you will see what life was like for the soldiers who lived there, and experience the hopelessness of an enemy attacker!
You will run up steep hills multiple times, crawl though tunnels, climb high walls, and jump over walls. Only those who overcome these challenges and cross the finish line can claim to have conquered the Fort!
Aid Stations:
The course will include at least one water station. Multiple First Aid providers will be on site. There will be water at the finish line and a cash BBQ.
Prizes:
There will be prizes from our sponsors.
Spectators:
