Runamuck Challenge The Runamuck Challenge is Ireland's largest run of it's kind with a sold out 5,000 entries.
It offers a 5km or 10km challenge with over 50 different obstacles in each 5km lap.
The fun factor is high on the agenda for this race with it proving very popular with charities, hen parties, etc and it is about 60:40 females to male participants.

Course Description:

Ireland's Original and most popular off-road Fun and Run Challenge for Joggers and Runners of all abilities - 1 lap (~5k) and 2 lap (~10k) options.
Runamuck Challenge is a cross country event over a wet and mucky course with many man made and natural obstacles like bale ""jumps"", net scrambles, super slides, tarzan swings, bridges, ditchs, streams, tyres & tunnels.
Course is not particularly hilly but there is mud everywhere so a 5km lap takes between 30 and 100 minutes.
There are about 50 different obstacles on each lap

Aid Stations:

Mobile first aid on Course and at full paramedic and field hospital cover at finish.
Water, fruit and cake at finish

Awards:

Prizes for top 3 overall in each race ( m and f/m) plus first team of 3 to finish

Prizes:

Prizes also for fancy dress, funky dancer at warmup, etc

Spectators:

Friends are welcome to come and enjoy the atmosphere and spectacle of the event

Parking:

Parking for all cars is in farm fields and condition of fields will be very dependent on the weather in advance of the event
Please car-pool and use front wheel drive (Or 4WD) vehicles to make parking easier for all concerned

Post Party:

On site entertainment for a fantastic fun day

Other:

Very basic changing facilities will be provided on the farm and basic power washer facilities will be available.
Please leave all jewellery and other valuables such as wallets, phones, etc at home or in your locked car - needles in haystacks are easier to find than diamonds in mud.

Team:

Team entry is encouraged. Minimum of 3 runners.
