Course Description:
Children will encounter hay bale obstacles, scrambling nets, muddy tunnels, slippy mud mounds, mud slide, mud swamps, scarmple over tyres and much more
An exciting new obstacle mud run, specifically designed for 7 - 15yr olf kids. Children will run a 2km distance tackling 15+ challenging obstacles.
Aid Stations:
We will have fully trained medics on the day
Spectators:
Spectators are free and will be abe to walk along the side lines of most of the course to cheer on and to take pictures of their kids.
Parking:
Carpooling is definitely recommended but there will be ample parking on the day. Parking included in registration fee.
Post Party:
On the day we will have music, face paint, food vendors supplying healthy food options. There will also be the option to purchase hot and cold beverages.
Other:
Mini muckers was set up in response to the worrying statistics that 1 in 3 children are now obese in Ireland. Our aim is to introduce kids to a different way of being active, to challenge themselves, work as a team and to show them that sports and being outdoors can be great fun......whiile getting very muddy of course :) Thats why at all our events we make it a safe but a really fun environment for both adults and kids and you can be gauranteed to be laughing the whole time.
Min age is 7, Max age is 15 yrs. Min height is 3'5ft. There will be wash down area on the day to remove excess of the mud but unfortunately there will not be a designated changing area.
If your child wants to run for charity, we absolutely encourage this, Mini Muckers will be making a donation from the proceeds to a local childrens charity.
Team:
Teams are encouraged to enter as we believe its a lot more fun running around and getting muddy with your friends :) There is no limit to how many people are on a team all we ask is that you come up with a cool team name and that all the children are in the same age category. There are discounted rates for teams, the bigger the number the cheaper it is.
