Course Description:
The Original KC Timber Challenge 5k obstacle course is located on over 130 wooded acres along the banks of the Kansas River.
We thought it would be WILD to create a one of a kind natural obstacle course using our unique terrain and landscape!
Welcome back to the event that kicked it all off in 2014.
KC Timber Challenge 5k obstacle course description.
This course is in a very cool setting. We feature something you have never seen at the pop-up events since our course is always evolving on the same land.
Awesome natural obstacles and terrain!
Challengers will be going through very rugged terrain including: gnarly creek beds, a natural 25ft log jam, 50 ft gravel dunes, steep double pitch bluffs, fallen tree balance beams up to 10ft high and more.
Our man made obstacles for this course are also ever evolving and we just got Shutte Lumber to donate $10,000 in lumber to build some bad ass new ones.
Our current line up for the KC Timber Challenge 5k obstacle course includes:
The Sante Fe Tow Away Bus- A 45 degree drop or climb through a bus wrecked down a bluff. Sure to induce vertigo.
Hand Help Zip- 3 200 ft hand held zip lines over a pond
Fire Zip- 2 50ft hand held zip lines over a fire pit200 ft pitch black tunnel crawl with an easy and very challenging route
7 Story Tower Climb- in which you can view downtown KC and Lawernce
2 story hand over hand log pull various weights up to 100lbs
200 ft water slide – 200ft uphill belly crawl – mud pits – Balance beams – Fire jumps – Hay bale climb
Aid Stations:
Full EMT staff and Water Stations throughout the course
Awards:
Event Specific awards and finisher medals! Trophies and Medals may be awarded for best costume, best team costume, biggest team and more.

Spectators encouraged for $10 parking fee
