KC Timber Challenge The KC Timber Challenge course is located on over 130 wooded acres along the banks of the Kansas River. We thought it would be fun to incorporate a more natural obstacle course using our unique terrain and landscape as much as possible. Be prepared for a 5k obstacle course including: Mud, Fire, Ice, Bluff Climbs, a 7 story tower climb, our signature hand held ZIP LINES stretching over 300 feet of mud pits and more to be announced soon. This is not a race… it’s a personal and team building challenge. All challengers are encouraged to dress in the wildest costumes and push their individual limits. This course is designed to test your stamina and will to succeed, with one WILD ASS party to celebrate your accomplishments at the end. Beware the 'Squatch' for we’re letting him loose on the streets of Kansas City to motivate you to 'Unleash Your Inner Beast'!

Course Description:

This event is going to much more challenging than the first two for all you Wild Beasts out there. We are going to lengthen the course about a mile, widen current obstacles, bring in an additional 20,000 gallons of water for the mud pits and add an additional 15 obstacles!

New obstacles will include cargo net climbing, a log carry through the pond, more fire, wider pits, more mud and the Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is a series of back to back obstacles designed to push you to your limits.

Be prepared for an awesome 5k+ course including 45 Obstacles like: Mud, Fire, Ice, Bluff Climbs, a 7 story tower climb, hand held ZIP LINES stretching over mud pits and a School Bus wrecked down a bluff. The only way to see them all is to take the challenge!

Aid Stations:

3 water stations
5 medics
fruit and water at finish line

Awards:

TBD likely competitive and beast mode awards

Spectators:

Spectators are free and may roam the course with signed waiver

Parking:

$10 parking lot is close to start finish

Post Party:

Live DJ at afterparty, music at top of course, food vendors and of course free beer.

Other:

A portion of proceeds will benefit a local military charity
