Race Start Time:
The first wave begins at 8:00am and the event ends around 4-5pm, depending on event capacity some locations will have waves that go later into the day.

Course Description:
Terrain Race is based around a 5k structure, so you can generally expect about 3 miles of mud, walls, ropes, monkey bars, and 15+ other examples of anything we are able to fit into the unique terrain of each venue we visit. We’re consistently striving for innovation and excitement in our obstacles, so there’s always a chance you’ll see something brand new.
Obstacles may include: Cargo Nets, Monkey Bars, Mud Crawls, Net Climb, Multi-Grig Rig, Carry, Tarzan Swing, Walls, Mud Tubes, Wet Start
Aid Stations:
Every event will have aid stations along the course with water only. You may need to bring your own energy gels and food, but water will be available every 1-2 miles on the course.
Spectators:
Free! Watch your friends and family cross the finish line and get a Monkey Medal put around their neck. There is no charge for spectators at our events and we encourage you to get a cold beverage, grab a bite, play some games, and hang out.

Post Party:
Had a great time on course but still not ready to go home yet? Perfect! We'd love to hang out with you for a while. In our festival area, you'll have plenty of chances to meet and interact with our various sponsors (many of whom have free stuff to give you!), eat plenty of delicious food in order to rebuild and refuel your body after what you put it through on the course, or just kick back with a beverage and reminisce about how much fun you had during your race.
Other:
$1 from every registration goes to our official charity partner, 1Wish, whose mission is to aid families effected by childhood cancer.
You can check your gear for $5 (paid at the event). We will keep it clean while you get dirty.
While you must be at least 14 years old to run the 5k course by yourself, children aged 7-13 are fully welcome and encouraged to run the 5k with a parent or guardian. And then for the crowd of 2 to 10 year olds, we have the Mini Monkey course, which is a half-mile scaled-down version of our adult course, but made kid sized! The kids have an absolute blast with it, and they even get their own medal at the finish!
Team:
It's fine to race solo, but more fun as a team!
After checking out you can choose to race on a team or race solo. You can create a team or enter a team code to join someone else's team. Make sure to have 5 teammates three days before the race and each teammate will get a gift certificate on race day. There's no limit to how many teammates you have, we even have an award for the largest team!
