Course Description:
EPIC Series is the next generation of obstacle course racing that combines functional cross-training, Strongman, and traditional obstacle course racing elements into the most EPIC course on the planet. No mud, no long-distance running, no ice baths or electric shocks. With Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced options at every challenge station, Athletes of all ability levels can conquer this course and #beEPIC!
The EPIC course is approximately 3k long and packed tight with over 30 back-to-back obstacle challenges. Each station has Beginner (green), Intermediate (blue), and Advanced (black) options to pick from, so you can choose your challenge at every turn.
The EPIC course has 2 wave types:
COMPETITIVE WAVES - Men must do all Advanced obstacles; Women must do at least Intermediate obstacles. This course is timed. Eligible for Podium Prizes.
OPEN WAVES - Athletes of all ability levels may choose any level obstacle to complete at any time with no penalty. This course is timed.
THE KIDS COURSE: For this particular event, Junior Athletes will get the opportunity to take on the full OCR course with obstacles and weights that mimic the adults movements but in a pint sized fashion! We will have over 20 obstacles for them to tackle! Parents feel free to take on this challenge with your children as we will still have the adult obstacles up at the same time!
Aid Stations:
Nuun will be provided on course throughout the venue. Cellucor will also be providing warm up and warm down beverages.
Awards:
Sponsor prize bags for the Competitive athletes as well as the elite athletes! Come test yourself on the Elite course and attempt to win our World Famous Epic Belt in the Men's and Women's Strength and Endurance courses
Prizes:
On top of our awards we have two prizes for the Fastest Team and the Largest Team competitions. Swag will be provided to the teams that win these awards.

Spectators are free! Come support your family and friends! Who knows, you might to decide to sign up for yourself!

Portion of All Ticket Sales will be going to the LAPD SWAT Charity for various projects and educational resources provided to new and incoming SWAT members.
We offer a brand new kids course too! Family can join them too! Event is timed and resulted within 1 hour of last finisher. We offer a gear check for $2.00.
