Elite Wave starts at 7:40 am
King Arthur Challenge starts at 8:00 am
Open Waves start from 9:00 am to 1:20 pm with waves every 20 minutes
Free Play for Kid's Course 12 and Under will be open starting at 8:00 am.

Highlander Assault Join the Battle! The Highlander Assault Obstacle Series is a Highlander themed grueling but fun event. Featuring a 4 mile 20 obstacle option, an 8 mile 27 obstacle option, or if you are thirsty for more do both courses for a total of 12 miles and 47 obstacles to become a member of the Highlander Elite Black Watch. Black Watch 12 mile racers will receive a bonus Black Watch medallion! The Highlander Assault event will also feature the Highlander Village where you can hang out before and after the race enjoying D.J. music services, contests, several gourmet food vendors, beer, and sponsor give aways. Don't forget to take your picture with one of several Highlander Warriors in full garb walking the grounds.. Come join the battle and defeat the oppresive King's army, conquering the King's obstacle onslaught and raising the Highlander Flag to glory! Oh and if you are up for the challenge, don't forget your kilts!

Course Description:

Each course will challenge our warriors over a vast array of ever changing terrain, including dense forest trails, open fields, rolling hills, and river crossings with a few surprises along the way!
Some of the Obstacles you will be tackling include; Siege wall, guardian gates, highlander hang, dragon spit, long bow, Celtic climb, village walls, chainmail, nightcrawler, fog of war, the gauntlet among others.
The Highlander Assault features unique battle courses, testing every bit of your mind, body, and soul. Offers four battle courses, a 4 mile 21 obstacle course, an 8 mile 32 obstacle course, a 12 mile 56 obstacle course, or the King Arthur Challenge of 26.2 miles and 100 obstacles!
Are you Highlander enough to join the Black Watch? Become an Elite member of the Black Watch, the Highland's elite warrior class. Complete 12 miles during the event and earn your exclusive Black Watch bonus medal or for those extreme warriors, run the King Arthur Challenge and earn both the Black Watch medal and a King Arthur Challenge medal.

Awards:

Ceremony for the winners of the elite heat, men, women, men (over 40) and women (over 40). We will also honor all of the finishers of the 26 mile course.

Spectators are Free

Parking:

Parking is $10 general parking (cash only), parking is next to race village

Post Party:

Highlander Village where you can hang out before and after the race enjoying D.J. music services, kids course and play area, gourmet food vendors, beer, and sponsor give aways.

Other:

There is a bag check available. Showers and changing tents are tentative with Covid 19 protocol.
