Transfers may be made between competitors up until 7 days before the event – after then they must be made at registration at the event. Course Description:
The Mud & Guts Challenge takes place on a rural property beside the river, up and down hills.
There are 50+ obstacles over a 9km course including climbing walls, cargo nets, tunnels, log swings, river crossing, bush run, water jumps, mud crawls, barbwire under entanglement, monkey bars, rope crossings, dam jump, water slide, water wall, swing steps, tire pit, tire wall, hurdles, electric gully, water trough, horizontal cargo net and more.
Aid Stations:
Water stations on course as well as course marshals as well a trained paramedic.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the top in each category, special prizes to outstanding and memorable achievements on the day as well as a variety of spot prizes including best dressed from each category!
Prize-giving will be held 30 minutes after the last person completes the course. It will take place on the deck by the restaurant and bar and you must be present to take home any prizes!
Please note: You must be present to be eligible for these prizes.
Spectators:
Spectators welcome at no charge and they can roam the course freely.
Parking:
Parking is free of charge.
Other:
Make a weekend of it and stay at Mountain Valley's Camping Ground. Participants receive a 10% discount if they stay over the event weekend. Check out our range of accommodation and contact us for availability.
Competitors must be at least 13 years old on the day of the event to compete.
It is strongly advised that competitors wear a thermal polypropylene top and running shoes during the event. You will get wet and muddy!
Football or rugby boots with moulded studs are acceptable; running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted.
A dry set of clothing, beanie and jacket is highly recommended following the event.
There will be hot showers and changing rooms available to clean yourself up so bring a towel!
Food will be available from the venue for purchase.

Open to teams of 5 competitors – must complete the race as a team
