New for 2014, the Guts & Glory Challenge includes a Youth Division for kids 9 to 13-years-old. Kids will compete along a 1 mile course with obstacles. A registered parent or guardian can run with their child upon request. |

Course Description:
Just to list a few quarry swims, 70’ cargo net cliff climbs, racing zip lines, log carries, and a 3K run for good measure.
Looking for a leg-up on running the 2014 course? Portions of the course will be available between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Aug. 31 and Sept. 7 so you can practice and get a good workout in on a Sunday afternoon. These two training sessions are available to registrants for $10 per session, paid on-site on Aug. 31 and Sept. 7 only.
Aid Stations:
Water Stations are throughout the course and there are First Aid/Red Cross Certified staff stationed at obstacles. Guts & Glory medical personnel may examine any participant who appears to be injured or suffering. The medical personnel may remove any participant from the event if in the opinion of the medical personnel the participant needs to be removed.

Participants are encouraged to raise additional funds through pledges, to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut. Your registration fee, and any pledges you collect are tax deductible. No refunds available. Proceeds from registration fees benefit Special Olympics Connecticut
Team:
This year, you can run as an individual or a team. If you would like to start the event at the same time, register as a team and we will try to ensure each group starts during the same wave. Each team member will have their own bib number and complete the entire event. To determine the Team Division winner, the four fastest times of team members will be averaged. (Teams can be any size.)
