Race Start Time:
First wave starts at 8:00am. Runners are released every 15 minutes for 30 runners at a time. Last heat departs at 3:45pm.

Course Description:
Muddy ACCE Race is a 5K, 26 obstacle mud obstacle course race designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. It’s not about how fast you can cross the finish line, but if you can handle the mayhem. For the kiddos we have the Youth Mud Run and the Children’s Mud Pit. Along the banks of the New River in Giles County, Virginia, this race has a rope swing out onto open water and 25 other challenges.
Aid Stations:
Paramedics and emergency personnel will be on hand. Water and showers available as well.
Spectators:
Not interested in running? Spectators are free but will be kept to viewing areas for their safety as well as course participants. There will also be a vendor village to explore for participants and spectators.
Parking:
Parking will be available for participants. It is free of charge and is located in proximity to registration and the race itself. Golf carts will shuttle participants from their cars to registration.
Other:
The proceeds from this event support the Access to Community College Education (ACCE) Program in Giles County, a County and New River Community College partnership.
