Course Description:
A distinctive 5K run with numerous, physically challenging obstacles.
The Raymond Area Rotary Club is presenting this activity to raise funds for charitable causes. All proceeds will directly benefit the local community and Rotary International’s worldwide projects.
It is a 5k obstacle course with hills, tunnels, water, mud, rope climbs, walls, upper body workouts, and more. We have more than doubled in size from year one to year two.
The community joins forces with us by sending a fire truck with hoses, to wash off after the race. We have a competitive wave for those that want to run as fast as they can and we have waves for those who want to take their time.
Aid Stations:
There will be a medical tent that has 4 wheeled vehicles circling the course in the event of an injury. Ambulance and a fire truck. Water, fruit, and BEER will be waiting for you at the finsh! There will be two water stations on the course.
Spectators:
Spectators are $3 and have a wonderful view of the course. They can see about 3/4 of the course and have a lot of room to rome around.
Parking:
Parking is free. Car pooling is recommended. This is not a remote lot and there is no need for shuttles.
Post Party:
Race attendees are welcome to stay after the waves are done. There will be food, drinks, and a DJ. Our runners and attendees maker are post-party awesome!
Other:
Runners must be 14+ and anyone younger than 14 must be with an adult and will be advised to stay away from certain obstacles. Participants are encouraged to try all obstacles. With that being said, we don’t want anyone to get hurt and it’s fine to skip obstacles.
