Course Description:
Participants can register to complete 1 lap (5k) or 2 laps (10k) and aim for the best time on the day. Our course of man-made and natural obstacles which includes ditches, ropes, slides, pits, canals, lakes, forests, tyres and of course lots of MUCK, will take you through the stunning private grounds of Ballinlough Castle. The course will allow you to push your mental and physical agility having great craic in the process.
Prizes:
There will be prizes for the fastest individual male and female 10k racers, and for the fastest overall 10k group (in the event of a tie, the group with the fastest individual time). There will also be prizes for our best dressed fancy dressers, and we have a few other spot prizes up our sleeves
Spectators:
Spectators are free to watch the Muck it event
Parking:
Parking is free for all Muck it contestants and spectators
Post Party:
There will be refreshments after the race for the Muckers and spectators.
Other:
There will be a registration area for you to pick up your timing chip and race paraphernalia, a key deposit to leave your car key while you race, washing-down facilities, basic changing facilities, there will be food and beverages available before and after the race for you or anyone that comes to cheer you on.
Team:
Run as an individual or team of four, find 3 friends willing to pull you out of a sticky spot, register your team name and sign up to the team online.
