Lanrick Challenge Going into its third year this is a Unique Wilderness, 12 or 6K charity, Obstacle event. Set in the grounds of Lanrick Estate, the course is challenging without being extreme. As Scotland’s newest one day obstacle event it is designed to be the ultimate test of physical strength, stamina and mental determination for corporates, athletes, individuals, families and friends. Our course was designed and tested with the help of Royal Marines from 45 Commando based in Arbroath.

Course Description:

Both the 6k and 12k course will offer guaranteed muddy fun as participants face over 40 obstacles including cargo nets, crawling through mud and wading through the River Teith in Central Scotland’s countryside. A few new obstacles have been added to the course for those of you who undertook the challenge last year. We now have “The Hanging Gardens of Babylon”, “The Ancient Pigsty”, “ Slippery Pole” and lastly “ The Gravel Pit Scramble”just to add to your day of fun and adventure.

Aid Stations:

There will be paramedics, water stations, jelly babies halfway round 12K

Spectators free and routes are marked for viewing areas

Other:

All profits go to Charity. The chosen charities are The Sandpiper Trust and Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance. All other competitors will go in waves every 15mins thereafter
