Course Description:
We try to have between 15-30 obstacles per course. 5K Foam Fest is an amazing mix of foam, mud and obstacles thus making fitness fun. Whether you like it dirty or clean the 5k Foam Fest has something for everyone. Imagine the excitement of a mud run combined with foam, ginormous inflatable obstacles, army crawls, foam, colossal walls, mud pits, cargo net climbs, foam, body washer, moon walk, foam, slip'n slides and water obstacles (did we mention foam). The 5k Foam Fest is a fun and exciting challenge for the experienced and beginner runners alike. The 5k Foam Fest makes exercising an absolute party for you and your friends.
Aid Stations:
There will be multiple water stations throughout the race—gotta stay hydrated! Also, we will have a delicious spread waiting for you at our feed station at the finish. By delicious spread we mean energy bars and some fruit; did you really think we meant filet mignon? All food is guaranteed not to be muddy, well assuming you haven’t gotten mud on it first.

Spectators:
Spectators have no shortage of fun while they watch the runners run through the foam and mud and enjoy the wide variety of festival activities, food venders and more!
Parking:
$10. It’s only fun if you do it in style and with a group and yes we’re
talking about parking. So carpool if you can. There is a small muddy
parking fee! Parking is $10,so carpool, it may be an obstacle finding a
spot.
Try and leave as much stuff as you can in your car— but for the stuff you can’t leave behind, or that you don’t want covered in mud and foam, we will have a secure place to check in your gear. Please note that we do not accept children at the gear check-in.
Post Party:
While partying with us, you get FREE access to Games and Activities like: Foam Pit, Pull-Up Bar, Mud, Limbo, Minute to Win It games, Greased Pole etc. etc.
Other:
We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally
take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing
chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather
than the speed.
You need to arrive an hour BEFORE your muddy, foamy, 5K Foam Fest heat starts to allow enough time to get registered, scope out the mud, and soak in the awesome 5k run atmosphere. If you are one of those chronically late people, tell yourself you need to be there 2 hours early, or just camp out.
Bring your friends and family—or anyone else who needs proof of your mud
run and obstacle course skills or someone who needs a demonstration of
your mud flinging abilities. Be sure to bring your Release of Liability
Waiver (this is emailed to you when you received your registration
confirmation.) Just in case you forget, we will have some on hand for
you to sign—but save yourself the time and trouble by just bringing it
with you. Don't forget your mad money! Also, you should probably bring
some extra clothes because your clothes will get muddy, but hey it's
pretty much a mud run. If you forget your game face, then you're SOL.
Anything goes as long as you wear some clothes. You will be running in
foam, mud and water so you’ll want something that can get muddy, foamy
and that allows you the freedom to move and groove. Costumes are the
coolest and come with their own list of pros, so choose but choose
wisely my friends.
All children must be physically, mentally and emotionally able to
complete the course with proper racing etiquette. Please see the age
guidelines below:
Ages 6-11 can only register for the Rugrat Race at 11am.
Ages 12-15 can register for the 5k race but must run with a registered adult. The adult kid combo will not work in this case.
Ages 16+ can run in the 5k race without an adult chaperone and must adhere to all race rules and regulations.
Any child 6 yrs or younger, is not allowed to run the race but can play around in our foam pits and other pre and post race activities.
Some of our obstacles will be in or around water. Most of the time the
water is shallow; however, if you cannot swim or are uncomfortable doing
an obstacle that involves water than you can skip that obstacle. So be
sure you practice your doggy paddle before the race just in case.
Team:
You must have 4 or more people to make a team. There is no limit as to how big a team can be. However, if the heat time is full your team member will not be able to run with you, so sign up early to ensure you run togehter. Each team member must sign their own liability waiver. A major perk for running as a team is you are eligible to win the team MOJO Award!! We’re looking for something all around unique—anything from killer team name or costumes—so show up ready to strut your stuff and win! Be sure to see our team page and video for more information.
Headbands will be given at the finish line when your team of four or
more crosses the finish line. If you are running at a different time
than the rest of your team you will still receive your headband at this
time we will just need to verify that you’re part of a team.
