Course Description:
The Driven Games is a hybrid event that focuses on 3 core race formats: Running – Obstacles – Endurance.
Trail Format: off road 5k trail run with a series of natural obstacles for the participate to negotiate as they tackle the course. At the 5k mark, the trail phase will automatically transition into the 5k obstacle phase.
Obstacle Format: a 5k obstacle course populated with a series of man made obstacles coupled with the natural terrain. At the 5k mark, the obstacle phase will automatically transition into the endurance phase.
Endurance Format: 5k format consists of push, pull, carry, ruck & run endurance events (similar to the original Green Beret Challenge). The race will end at the completion of the endurance phase.
Aid Stations:
There will be several hydration stations and medics on course.
Awards:
There will be custom awards for the top 3 male/female overall finishers as well as top 3 finishers in each of the age categories.
Spectators:
There is no charge for spectators and there will be portions of the course that spectators can see. Everyone is invited to the post party.
Parking:
There will be a $10 parking fee and the parking will be co-located with the festival area.
Post Party:
Our post party will be at an off-site location in the town of Dahlonega.
Other:
This event is supporting a veterans charity and donations can be given during the race registration.
There will not be any swimming during this event.
Minimum age to compete is 14 years of age.
Team:
Groups or teams are welcome to run this event together, however there is no official team wave or competitive category for teams this year.
